What the BMW N54 (335i/135i) turbos look like...

A California-based tuner named "AutoTalent" recently did some surgery on their 335i test mule and posted pics of the twin turbos. Check em out.

The engineer is sure that the stock internals can hold 18-20psi that bigger turbos can give. Question is can the headgasket and ignition system hold up, and can the stock injectors give enough fuel for that much boost?

No matter, this engine powers what everyone's calling "The 1st Supra Turbo of the 21st Century". Given that it's all-aluminum, you won't be seeing 600RWHP with stock internals, but it's interesting to see what it can do with the 500 range...possibly??

Have any pics of the stock intercooler on the N54 setup? Are there any aftermarket upgrades available in terms of an intercooler for the 335/535?

Also, Dinan is working on their FMIC for the 335i. Additionally, some folks have installed their own custom FMIC's, successfully.

Note that the oil cooler performance for this engine is equally as important.
